Remove the AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security app

You can downgrade, deactivate, or uninstall the app from your device.

Downgrade from advanced mobile security to mobile security

You have to downgrade from AT&T ActiveArmorSM advanced mobile security the same way you signed up for it. For example, if you subscribed from your iPhone®, you’ll have to cancel your subscription in iTunes.

Downgrade in the app

  1. Open AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security and go to Settings.
  2. Tap subscription, then  Change Subscription.
  3. Select Downgrade to Free.
  4. Tap Confirm.

Cancel iOS subscription

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select your name or Apple ID.
  3. Select Subscriptions and look for AT&T ActiveArmor.

 Cancel Android subscription

  1. Go to the Google PlayTM store.
  2. Select the profile icon at the top right.
  3. Select Payments & Subscriptions.
  4. Select Subscriptions and look for AT&T ActiveArmor.

You’ll still have access to all the free mobile security features to help block spam, protect your device from unauthorized access, and more. This will just remove the ActiveArmor advanced mobile security subscription from your account.

Deactivate ActiveArmor and remove the service

  1. Go to Settings in ActiveArmor mobile security.
  2. Tap Subscription and choose Change subscription.
  3. Select Remove subscription.
  4. Tap Remove, Confirm, or Save to finish up.

FYI: Once you deactivate the ActiveArmor mobile security service, you won’t be able to manage and control any unwanted calls, including blocking spam and telemarketers. The AT&T wireless network will continue to protect you from the default fraud prevention built into our network.

Uninstall the app

You must complete all steps to deactivate and remove AT&T ActiveArmor mobile security to stop billing. Just uninstalling the app doesn’t remove the service from your account.

If you’ve completed the steps to deactivate the service, you can remove or disable the app on your device.
